About the Project
Grand Residence Jakarta is a 32-floor luxury apartment with 480 units in the Senopati area, South Jakarta. As a flagship development by PT Cipta Karya Sentosa, the building required a premium vertical transportation system capable of handling high traffic with the best level of comfort and safety.
Scope of Work
PT Fuji Pacific Elevator was entrusted with end-to-end installation of 6 passenger lifts:
- 4 main lifts (lobby → residential floors)
- 1 service lift (staff & logistics access)
- 1 basement-to-ground parking lift
Technical Specifications
- Type: Machine Room Less (MRL)
- Capacity: 1000 kg / 13 persons per unit
- Speed: 2.5 m/s
- Drive: VVVF with regenerative braking
- Cabin: Stainless steel hairline finish, premium handrail, LED lighting
- Safety: ARD, overload sensor, multi-beam door sensor
Challenges & Solutions
The project demanded tight coordination with structural and MEP teams as installation ran in parallel with building finishing. Our team applied a sequential schedule so 2 lifts were operational for unit handovers while others were still in testing.
