Installation of 3 extra-large bed lifts and 2 passenger lifts with emergency priority for a 12-floor hospital in Central Jakarta.

About the Project
Medika Utama Hospital is a class-A hospital with 320 beds. The new tower development required a healthcare-grade vertical transportation system capable of accommodating patient beds along with medical teams and support equipment.
Scope of Work
- 3 bed lifts with extra-deep cabin (2.7m) for ICU beds
- 2 passenger lifts for visitors and staff
- Emergency priority mode (key control for critical patient transport)
- Optional anti-microbial handrail and UV-C lighting
- Integration with hospital paging system
Bed Lift Specifications
- Capacity: 1600 kg / 21 persons
- Cabin dimensions: 1.5m × 2.7m (extra deep)
- Doors: Wide-opening 1300mm for bed access
- Speed: 1.5 m/s (smooth start for patients)
- Floor: Anti-slip medical-grade vinyl
- Walls: Brushed stainless with corner protection
Results
Project delivered in 10 weeks, in-line with the new tower’s soft opening. K3 lift certification was issued and medical staff received specialized emergency procedure training.
